This two-day workshop focuses on bioinformatics approaches for human microbiome research, combining metagenomics data processing and metabolic modelling.
Participants will gain hands-on experience with modern metagenomics analysis methods, data preprocessing workflows, and standardized reporting practices, as well as an introduction to the application of metabolic modelling for the functional analysis of microbiome data. The workshop is organized within the framework of the collaboration between the National Institute of Research and Innovation and Kiel University, with the aim of developing shared analytical methodologies, fostering knowledge exchange, and strengthening future collaborations in clinical microbiome research.
