Research Projects at the Teika Science Centre

The NIRI Teika Science Centre offers students the opportunity to carry out their course papers, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral theses in the fields of developing new chemicals, drug candidates, and biotechnology solutions, integrating organic chemistry, pharmacology, and molecular biology.

Conducting a research project at NIRI provides access to the Institute’s scientific infrastructure and state-of-the-art research facilities. Most members of the scientific staff at the NIRI Teika Science Centre are involved in the supervision or review of student projects, ensuring expert guidance, rigorous critical evaluation, and adherence to the highest academic and scientific standards. As a result, student research projects carried out at NIRI are regularly recognized with awards, and students have received prestigious scholarships, including those awarded by the Morbergs Scholarship Foundation, the Vītols Foundation, and others.

How to Apply for a Course Paper, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Thesis at the Teika Science Centre?

  • Include your CV and a motivation letter explaining your interest in the specific research topic;
  • • Await an invitation to an individual interview.
